Tommy's first ski trip

Last week we got to take Tommy on his first ski trip ever and he is a pro! He had one day in daddy ski school, 2 days in the real thing, and then 3 days on the slopes with me, Ryan, Nana and Pops. He is a natural and LOVED every minute of it. Here are some pics and video of the trip. You'll notice in the video of Tommy on Candyland, he was paired with a girl named Julia, who had no interest at all in going through the course, but rather just glided down the side, according to her own plan. I crack up every time I watch it!

We left Callie with my mom, which was tough for me, but she did great. My mom captured some great pics of her at home, so I posted those, too. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to get out to Deer Valley...it is a piece of pure heaven!

Tommy the performer

Shocking, yes, I know, that a Bauchiero child would love to perform in the spotlight. Tommy is always singing something new around the house. The national anthem is still his favorite, but we caught a few church songs that he learned in school on video, as well as God Bless America. I am ashamed to say that I didn't even know all the words to that one until Tommy started singing it around the house. For your viewing pleasure....

Sibling love

At least for now, Tommy & Callie are each others' biggest fans. No one can put a sweet smile on Callie's face faster than Tommy, and Tommy lovingly looks after his little sis (well, most of the time). They have so much fun making each other giggle and it is music in our house! Here are a few pics of the kiddos together.

New Year's Eve

Yes, I am posting New Year's Eve pictures in March....that is just life! Here are a couple of Callie, who surprisingly left the hat on for a long time! There are also 2 videos posted of each of the kids breaking through the 2011 finish line. Mind you, this was done at about 8pm, not midnight, but the kids loved it. It has become a new tradition for us and our friends on New Year's. I think we were in bed by ten!

Merry Christmas!

Here are a few pics of the kiddos from Christmas morning in their matching PJs! My parents came up from Atlanta to spend the holiday with us, and it was a great one. We are so blessed!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve over at Grandnan and Pops house, as we do every year. But this year, Aunt Gina organized the first annual Christmas performance. Tommy was Joseph and Callie was baby Jesus. The kids all sang Away In a Manger, Silent Night and Jingle Bells. I will see about posting some video, because that truly captures the precious hilarity of the performance and all the different personalities coming through. But for now, here are some stills to enjoy!

Tommy's birthday party

Last Saturday we celebrated Tommy's 4th birthday. We had an Ensworth theme birthday party in the gym at my school and we had a blast. The guests of honor were Antonio and Andrew. If you follow the blog, you know Antonio is the student of mine who is now playing at UT (the enormous one in the pictures). Andrew is the quarterback at Ensworth. Tommy adores both of them and was beside himself that he got to play football with them at his party. It was an amazing day!
