Tommy update

Life with Tommy has proven to be quite the adventure! A few days after he was born, he had to undergo 54 hours of phototherapy to get rid of his jaundice. That was a pretty taxing couple days, but we survived and he is all better, and no longer "Big Orange" (as much as we appreciated his UT spirit!). Since then, we have been coping with some sleepless nights, mysterious gas & diaper rashes and a stuffy nose! But he is such a sweet baby and we are loving every minute. At his 2 week check up he was healthy as could be and was already a pound over birth weight...the doctor was very impressed! Here are a couple pics of Tommy now that he is healthy and back to his normal color!

Tommy's first bath & bottle

At around 2 weeks, we started introducing one bottle a day so that mommy can have a little freedom every now and then. Daddy loves being able to do this!

Here is Tommy's first bath! Bath time is special for daddy & Tommy!

Uncle Dan, Aunt Jessie & Pops come visit!

Uncle Dan, Aunt Jessie and Pops came down to Jax to visit the week after Tommy was born. Here are some pics with them!

He's here!

Tommy arrived on Thursday, December 6 at 8:50pm. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and is 19 inches long. I had pregnancy induced hypertension so he was ready to come early! Labor and delivery went great and we are all at home and settled in. We wanted to get pictures up right away, so soon I'll be adding a slideshow with some more pics documenting the entire day. But here is the finished product! We are SO blessed!
